(It requires bluez-compat, bluez, gksu and zenity)
Sixaxis pair tool 0.1 install#
Just download the attached deb (on page 4!) and install Now supporting 32-bit, 64-bit, sparc and powerpc versions of Ubuntu Intrepid If it works with 32-bit, or any other version, then the sixaxis will just work (in any version!), if not. In my 64-bit Ubuntu it does, even without installing bluez-sixaxis deb. Install bluez-compat, and run "sudo hidd -nocheck -server -n" (you may have to turn off bluetooth - "sudo /etc/init.d/bluetooth stop"ĭoes the terminal log something when you press the PS button on sixaxis? I'm not using my laptop now, so I can't upload the packages, but I'll do it soon.īut I need you to test one thing (It's very important!): Turns off the sixaxis by killing the hidd connection (useful to save battery). To setup a connection between you pc and sixaxis (only needed to run once, unless you have various joysticks). Simple, ha?Īfter connecting or setup sixaxis run this script to make bluetooth back to normal again When sixaxis has been setup and you restart, just run this and then press the PS button. I also made 4 scripts to make our life easier: I didn't have the chance to try if the i386 is working correctly, but I assume it will (they are both based on bluez-compat)
Sixaxis pair tool 0.1 Patch#
It doesn't need the patched hidd, cause the bluez-compat provides it (yes, with the hidd patch included!) I've sucefully completed the amd64 and i386 packages and I'll do for other versions as well.
